In 1987, Helen Halpenny was one of the founding members of Lanark County Master Gardeners. For the past 35 years, she has been the strength and inspiration to all of our members. She has held many of the executive positions in our group and continues to inspire us all with her knowledge, wisdom, and sense of humour. She is a much sought-after speaker on horticultural topics and works to make our group stronger and our county even more beautiful.
