John Street Park

Category: Public Gardens & Events
Location: Corner of John and Paris Streets in Greater Sudbury

John Street Park has been planted and maintained by volunteers from the Sudbury Horticultural Society since it was developed in 1978 in partnership with the city of Sudbury. Throughout the growing season, these hardworking volunteers hold regular gardening bees to weed, plant and maintain the gardens while Sudbury Parks Services provides grass cutting services and water access. An irrigation system that was purchased and installed by the Society helps to ensure that regular watering is available when needed. While the garden consists of mostly trees, shrubs and perennials, annuals are added each spring to provide a boost of colour during the summer months. During your visit to Greater Sudbury, we encourage you to visit the beautiful gardens at Tom Davies Square, Memorial Park, Bell Park and Science North which are all located near John Street Park.
