Barb, a Master Gardener has provided her skills, expertise and dedication to help transform a farmer’s field into a community garden for over 60+ new Canadians. She’s arranged a ‘Growing in Canada’ education session, installed a water network, a tool shed, and a play area for children, and organized the construction of raised garden planters for seniors. She has laid the foundation for food security, improved health and wellness, and strengthened our community. We are forever thankful.
