The Butchart Gardens
The Butchart Gardens, a National Historic Site of Canada, welcomes nearly a million people from around the world to beautiful Brentwood Bay, B.C., 30 minutes from Victoria on Vancouver Island.
Begun in 1904 when Jennie Butchart started to beautify and reclaim a worked out quarry site, The Gardens are still maintained by the family and today comprise several major gardens, covering 55 acres, including the Sunken Garden, Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, Italian Garden, the Concert lawn and the Ross Fountain.
Changing seasonally, The Gardens continually evolve to display beautiful blooms, lush greens and thousands of lights at Christmas.
Please check with the website to confirm amenity information.
