Sunday June 16, 2024, National Garden Day is a celebration of our garden culture.

Special Ceremonies

Special ceremonies will be organized by local garden organizations in collaboration with various levels of government in communities across the country to celebrate and commemorate the role and contribution of gardens:

to the quality of life of our municipalities, our climate action goals and create safe and healthy places where people can come together in the spirit of inclusivity and reconciliation
to the development of Canada’s Garden Culture and who we are today as Canadians
to spend time in your garden, or to visit a garden. It’s Canada’s day to have fun and stop and smell the blooms!
