Found in the heart of the Central Alberta Prairies, the Trochu Arboretum and Gardens is a nature lover’s dream.

The Arboretum is the pride of our little town. Come to enjoy our beautiful garden of trees, shrubs, and flowers. Red shale walkways will lead you on a path of discovery to all the wonders, such as our Dr. Hay Memorial Pond, larger-than-life checkers board, gazebo, and interpretive centre.

Events include butterfly release from our local school, weddings, reunions, yoga in the park, winter festive lights and meditation. There is much to learn and be taught from our Gardens.
