Explore 20 acres of colour, unique design and countless rare plants in our National-Award-winning botanical gardens. Manmade streams, ponds, cascades, as well as cottage garden strolls, magnificent formal gardens and European-influenced architecture all await you at Whistling Gardens.
Our plant collections are among the finest in the country. The Conifer collection features 2,500 different specimens and is the largest public collection in the world. Our donated peony collection features over 900 different varieties and is considered to be the largest collection in North America!
In total there are some 4,500 different plants in Ontario’s only privately operated Botanical Garden. The garden sanctuary has been seamlessly connected with wheelchair-accessible walking paths. Shop for rare and unusual plants or participate in our group garden tours, horticulture, wellness or creative workshops. Cameras, and picnic lunches welcome!
