Ali is the driving force behind the magnificent gardens at not only Pioneer Park but also the Chantry Island Lightstation. She travels with her gardening tools and has been known to show up at someone’s house who mentions that they have an overgrown garden. Our group started an Artisan Market in 2021 and Ali volunteered to sit at one of the entrances but she noticed some weeds in the garden at the Art School so the next week she brought her tools and then a group of volunteers to clean them up.
