Alvina is engaged in many aspects of gardening throughout the community. She is a past president of the Yarmouth Garden Club, current member with Yarmouth Communities in Bloom Committee and an all round volunteer. She leads gardening efforts in public places throughout the community. She has opened her own garden for garden club visits. Whenever there is a call for gardening volunteers, she is there.
