The Lakefield & District Horticultural Society would like to select Anne Stone as our Garden Hero. Anne has willingly assumed leadership for the care of our pollinator garden in Isabel Morris Park in the village of Lakefield. She has pulled together work parties to weed, cultivate and plant and kept young plants alive by watering, sometimes daily. She monitors the garden regularly and informs others about it. She has educated so many to the concept that gardens must be for our pollinators.
