The Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Society is currently updating a local park (Lee Boltwood Park) in a new neighborhood of young families. We have removed garbage, weeds and a lot of burdock but Arlene is there nearly every day removing more weeds and preparing the beds for planting. She has secured native and pollinator plants and made a plan of where these plants will go. Arlene has organized a planting team and is an inspiration to our Society.
