A founding member of Peterborough & Area Master Gardeners, Beryl Harris has been an incredibly active member for 30+ years. Beryl (& Hazel Wilson) started the local Spring Garden Show (now Peterborough Garden Show), recognized as one of the best in Ontario. Until recent poor health, the 88 year old was putting in 600 annual volunteer hours at plant sales, giving presentations, and doing garden clinics. Known locally as the “Flower Lady “she is frequently stopped on the street to answer questions
