He has been a member of LHS since 2014. During his membership he served on the Board as Chairman of the sub-committee Communities in Bloom. In 2021 upon resignation of the Executive he stepped up and took over the position of President and under his management the Society is thriving. He was instrumental in the development of Shotton Parkette from a grassy area to a beautiful place to sit and relax on a park bench. He partners with the Town in the planting of 90 flower pots and 5 beds.
