Donna Matier is the founding president of the revived Wheatley Horticultural Society. Under her leadership the Society has started new gardens, expanded downtown displays and is planning an Arboretum and Learning Centre. Her talents have allowed the Society to prosper -she writes grant proposals, coordinates membership drives, community clean ups and fundraisers and is never afraid to ask for what the Society needs to meet its goals. Wheatley would be a less beautiful place without her.
