Joan has been a cornerstone of the Calgary Rose Society for a number of years. Currently holding the president role, she has led the society well, retaining members and offering an interesting program.
She is always willing to coach and mentor members in the fine art of growing roses in the Calgary climate. From creating videos showing how to accomplish a task; answering how-to questions or leading events she has significantly increased the skill and number of rose growers in Calgary.
