Laura has been a long time member of the Geraldton Horticultural Society and even as she ages she continues to ensure the community gardens are planted and kept beautiful in the town and at all public buildings. Laura has fulfilled many roles and duties within the organization and she continues working towards the goal of keeping her town beautiful even as the number of volunteers diminishes in her aging community. Laura is an outstanding volunteer and a most deserving Garden Hero Award.
