Lone is a master gardener here in the sub-arctic. She has taken my unproductive lawn and turned it into a vibrant vegetable garden. It is absolutely amazing the volume of vegetables it is producing. People from the community stop in amazement to look at the garden. She has already hosted a number of free workshops and plans to host many more. The City and Territorial Government are very supportive of this project and many of my neighbours are adding vegetable gardens too.
