As well as teaching sustainable horticulture at Niagara College after a several year stint as Director of Horticulture at the Toronto Botanical Garden and several decades as a manager at the retail Garden Centre, Plant World, he also is the call in gardening expert on CBC radio one on the Here and Now show, Thursdays in the summer months and now has taken over for Ed Lawrence on Mondays on CBC radio one. He has spoken publicly throughout the States, Europe, Bermuda, South Africa and Canada.
