Assiniboine Park
Assiniboine Park is home to several beautiful gardens that are open to the public year-round. The Leo Mol Sculpture Garden, a serene space brimming with flowers and tranquil pools, features the work of Ukrainian-Canadian master sculptor Dr. Leo Mol. The adjacent English Garden features winding paths and free-form beds overflowing with colourful vegetation. Across the Park, visitors will discover a new horticulture attraction called The Leaf – Canada’s Diversity Gardens, which explores the human connection with plants and nature. The opening of the Gardens at The Leaf in 2021 marked completion of the outdoor phase of this project. The Leaf, which will feature four unique indoor biomes, will open in late 2022.
